Description
This one-of-a-kind table is crafted from a single “cookie” slab of bubinga, a rare hardwood from the forests of Cameroon. The slab comes from a massive tree that had naturally fallen — too large to mill into standard lengths. Instead, the trunk was sliced into cross-sections, capturing the full history of the tree in its dramatic growth rings.
Shipped to South Africa and hand-finished in our workshop, the bubinga table showcases deep reddish-brown tones, bold figuring, and circular grain patterns unlike any other. The organic live edge and natural contours are complemented by a slatted wooden base, giving the table both strength and sculptural beauty. Each piece is entirely unique — a statement of nature, resilience, and craftsmanship.
