Description
This slab of ancient Greek wild olive is a rare opportunity to create a bespoke piece of furniture. The wood originates from olive trees aged 800–900 years, salvaged after the 2018 fires in Greece. The logs were planked on-site and brought to South Africa, where they await transformation in our workshop.
The slab features a live edge with dramatic grain patterns, golden and chocolate tones, and natural burn markings left by the fire. Its history and unique figuring make it a one-of-a-kind foundation for a custom commission — whether as a coffee table, desk, console, or statement piece tailored to your space.
